Brit students are given the chance to design for Emporio Armani|i-D

Screen Shot 2017-11-18 at 18.18.28There couldn’t be a more reasonable background to headhunt for some fresh talents as Emporio Armani is being showcased at London Fashion Week. Giorgio Armani will partner with the British Fashion Council to spot the young talents while still at fashion schools. The aim is to bridge the fresh originality and the old-school Italian practicality. This is not the first time Giorgio Armani aims to support young talents. Chinese model agency denies overworking to be the cause of a model’s death|THEGUARDIAN

Screen Shot 2017-11-08 at 22.24.39Vlada Dzyuba, a 14-year-old Russian model (yes, it is legal to work at this age in China) died after Shanghai Fashion Week. She was contracted with ESEE Model Management in Shanghai for the venue and was soon hospitalised after feeling dizzy and sick. Louis Vuitton is challenging sports and royalty|VOGUE.com

The scenery itself – Louvre’s new Pavillon de l’Horloge obliges the collection to be somehow noble and distinguished. So were the brocade frock coats, if not paired with running shorts and the LV sneakers running all their way through the polished floors. Plastic means water for Chanel ss2018|HARPER’S BAZAAR

The waterfall scenery does promise a lot, and the clothes covered with sheer plastic do make an impression of walking right under the water canopies. The tweed is a main theme as always, enriched by frills and ruffles in all shades of water and pearls.
