Since 2001, Christopher Bailey has been steering the brand from a trench maker to a modern label that gained a global following of young and creative minds. Bailey turned the seasonal Burberry shows into the cross-industry spectacles where live music (Burberry Acoustics was his idea to promote young Brit vocals), 3D livestreaming and high fashion bonded and merged. His exit is setting the bar pretty high for anyone who might succeed him later in 2018.
